I can’t say enough good about Karcher. My mom has been living there in the assisted living portion and is thriving. I can’t say enough good about the highly and attentive staff from the janitorial end to the director. My mom says that the meals are delicious and more than enough to satisfy her appetite. Activity director is a real hoot and energetic and highly imaginative and friendly. The facility is clean and well maintained. A full time maintenance man is on staff and available during the day the immediately attend to repair issues from changing a light bulb to a more serious issue. Parking can be a challenge some days, but most days I have found a place to park. Independent living is available in one section of the buildings with the assisted living apartments. There is several different wings with different levels of care available. Doors are open 24/7 for visitors. For the level of care given, the price is reasonable.

“I can’t say enough good things about the therapy department at Karcher. My dad came in after a hospital stay needing significant help with his mobility, and the progress he made in a short time was incredible. The therapists were patient but firm, encouraging him every step of the way. The facility is clean, the communication with the family was excellent, and most importantly, my father is now back home and feeling stronger than ever. Thank you to the entire team for getting him back on his feet!

Friend in rehab care. Cannot get a bath, haircut or shave. Been asking for 3 days. Response time to assistance light takes 20 to 30 minutes. Hire more help or don’t charge high prices.

Karcher has an amazing staff and provides excellent care in the treasure valley. I have had the pleasure to work with Trish and the experienced, and empathetic nursing team. I highly recommend their post acute rehab!

I’m very happy with Karcher Post Acute and the care my friend has been receiving here. The facility is clean, welcoming, and well-kept, and her room is bright and comfortable. The staff have been kind, attentive, and supportive, and I truly appreciate the positive difference this place has made for her. Highly recommend.

I’ve been here since February, and my experience has been very positive. The staff are wonderful, and the people here make the community feel warm and welcoming. The location is beautiful lots of greenery, a peaceful garden and even friendly animals like cats and squirrels that make the days brighter. I love the idea of having the gym open for residents, and I appreciate that the facility is actively working to continue upgrading the building. The meals are decent, and I can see the effort they’re making to keep improving things. Overall, this is a great place with a lot to enjoy, and I’ve been happy to call it home for the past several months.

I have a family friend currently staying there, after being placed at another facility for several years. The difference was amazing. Karcher Poste Acute had bigger rooms than the previous facility (although averaged sized), and at one point they were even able to have a private room. They were able to get her in with Medicaid which if you know can be hard at some facilities. Her family and us her friends were so grateful because she was so far away previously that it was hard to see her. Now she can be involved in family activities and the facility helps with transportation etc. very grateful to Karcher Poste Acute, they seem to be taking great care of her, she is happy there her quality of life has truly improved.

Karcher Post Acute was amazing with my loved one! The staff were so kind and really cared about their patients. They always kept us updated and made the whole process so much easier. The place is clean, friendly, and has a great atmosphere. I’m so thankful for the care they gave our family I highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this facility for some of the following number of reasons: * Staff is friendly and is willing to help at all times. * Upper management has a daily face to face hands – on approach in their willingness to deal with resident’s concerns and treatment while they are in the facility. In other words, you as a resident, have a voice here. You get to give input on how you are treated and how the facility could be improved. * There is a quick response time in answering call lights when residents need assistance. * The facility itself is kept very clean. * Residents are allowed to check out for temporary outings with friends or family. * The facility has it’s own “tv station” that posts daily activities, food menus, weather, etc. * The facility offers classes and social activitiies. Note; the craft classes that I have personally attended provided the craft supplies to complete the projects. * My personal experience with physical and occupational therapy has been very positive. * Upper management is willing to help set up training for family members on how to assist residents in daily activities and tasks when residents prepare to return home. Overall I give this facility a rating of 5 stars in their efforts to provide residents with a pleasant stay while in the facility and help prepare them with some tools to be successful in their transition in returning home.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The place and staff are amazing. My Grandmother was there for rehab after her surgery and the PT team was great and she was able to return home sooner than expected!

My review is about the nursing home and I think their rehab center not the assisted living. last week I met the patronizing administrator. the few good employees are worked to death. the nurses ignore family. they don’t call you back. you’re lucky if someone answers and says they’ll call back but it’s not true. one time I tried to visit my grandma and couldn’t find her. It took 2 hours for them to figure out she was at a doctor appointment down the road. my grandma’s food is cold. people who live there yell at each other and scares my grandma. I recognize some of the names of people giving 5 star reviews as employees. don’t schedule a tour just show up and walk around to see how bad it is, no one will notice. my mom told me most nurses don’t wear a mask when in a covid room and go right into a non covid room without washing their hands. the list doesn’t stop and makes me cry.

You become family with the staff and other patients which gives you the extra strength when you need it. Being away from our families, not being at HOME is emotionally and physically draining. But the support , the extra little care and feeling loved allows us to put our energy towards healing. The food is actually very good, with a good variety. Which doesn’t seem like much but is a huge part in helping us heal. If you have to be away from home, this is where I’d choose to be, every single time! 10 out of 10, even on my bad days!!!

My dad’s stay at Karcher Rehab was great! He progressed quickly in all the inpatient therapies and is being discharged earlier than we expected. The entire staff from nursing, therapeutic modalities, administration, dining, EVS & transportation was professional, efficient, caring and very friendly and helpful towards the patient and family. I was impressed with the security of check-in for visitors and that the highest standard “Covid masks” were worn by all visitors. Our family’s experience was so good that we are moving our dad to Karcher Assisted Living on discharge.

HORRIFIC experience there with a loved one just this past week, and for her poor room mate. STAY AWAY!!!! I think the food was okay, and to be fair some of the staff were kind and gentle. But the total experience was a literal nightmare for the entire family. Medical care, staff attitude, care for her hygiene and help to the restroom, therapy, personal attention – horrific.
